starting Chrome breaks networking with nat dns proxy mode enabled

Description
I'm using OpenSuse 12.3 64bit inside the latest VirtualBox release. The host is running Windows 7. I changed opensuse to use the Networkmanager and enabled the nat dns proxy

Starting Chrome V35 or chromium completely stops the networking.
Evverthing works fine with the same image on VMware
