VirtualBox with Win xp 32-bit crashes (VERR_PGM_PHYS_WR_HIT_HANDLER)

Hey,

I've installed VirtualBox with Win xp 32-bit to be able to play old games on my windows 7 (had to change to win 7 because xp isn't supported anymore...) I managed to set it up and install the game on it (a game from the nineties). In win 7 I couldn't even install the game. However, each time I launch the game, when I try to start a new game the virtualbox crashes and I have to close it, there's nothing to do about it.

Any idea how I could solve this please?

Please reopen if still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.
