I have reproduced this same error, even after upgrading to VBox 4.3.10 and recreating a new VM from scratch. I am installing from this ISO: WindowsBlue-ClientwithApps-64bit-English-X1899605.iso

My Host is Win7 Pro x64

I will attach logfile and screenshot

You selected the OS type "Windows XP 64-bit". Please select "Windows 8.1 64-bit"!

Replying to frank:

You selected the OS type "Windows XP 64-bit". Please select "Windows 8.1 64-bit"!

You're right - that has worked. Missed it somehow when creating the new VM. The old one was configured as 'Windows 8 64-bit" and that did not work either. Thanks for quick reply.
