Shared folders stopped working after upgrade to VB 1.5.6

Description
I upgraded from VirtualBox 1.5.4 to 1.5.6 and now I cannot access my shared folders anymore. I am using a Win XP host and a Ubuntu 7.10 guest.

Other users confirmed the problem. Reverting back to VirtualBox 1.5.4 solves the issue and shares are accessible again.
