Option to capture USB for whole VB run, or even globally

Description
Running on Windows, it seems USB capturing works on a per-VM invocation basis. You start the VM, insert the USB device, and it's captured until the VM exits. This means that multiple runs of the VM require removing and reinserting the USB device every time.
It would be useful to have an option to capture USB for the whole VirtualBox session, rather than a single VM run.
Possibly, even a system-global capture would be useful, where the USB filter parameters would be stored by the host USB capture driver and acted upon even before VB runs. In such a case, the VB GUI (or maybe a property sheet for the USB capture driver) could have a "release capture" option.
A system-global capture would prove useful in scenarios where a USB device is there exclusively for VM usage. A system-global capture would mean no removal/reinsertion at all.
