Password reset link in email does not work

Description
The link in the email sent to me after a password reset request looked correct in the email but failed in the browser when clicked.
The link looked like https:/myprofile.oracle.com/... in Mail and like https:/myprofileoracle.com/... in Safari, so the browser could not locate the server unless I manually added the missing dot.
