Description

Mac OS X 10.8.3 attempting to run Windows Vista. Was running fine until two updates ago. After next to last update, it began to act finicky, requiring a full shut down after opening it once; if not shut down, it would crash white "starting." Since last update a week ago, it will not open at all since it worked the first time right after downloading. I have not changed anything else on my laptop.

I am only using the Windows for a software native is only supported by Windows. I am using it to gather data files from my SRM power meter (a cycling tool used to measure wattage output while riding.) Nothing else has been installed on Windows.

OS X VM log

Allow me to clarify. OS X works fine, and only crashes if I attempt to open Windows through VirtualBox. All other functions in OS X work perfectly fine.

I can open VirtualBox perfectly, with no problems viewing preferences, settings, logs, etc. However, if I choose to attempt to run Windows, it will open a black box titled "Windows (starting)" and then restart.

Looks like you've shared wrong core file, it's generated by TextEdit. Could you please repeat your test with clean /cores/ folder or without corefiles in current folder if you're following Core_dump? Note: perhaps it'd be easy for you to use our ftp server ftp://ftp.oracle.com/appsdev/incoming for uploads (we need file name when your upload will finish)
