Pause key no longer works as Host key

Description
In older versions, it was possible to use the Pause key as the Host key.
In the newer version, this no longer works. I can set the host key to Pause, but then pressing it does not correctly capture or uncapture the keyboard/mouse.
I think this is a significant problem because the Pause key is clearly vastly more suitable than the Right Ctrl key, which is vastly more often actually used in real software than the Pause key.
