VB always freezes on saving Ubuntu guest at 99% point

Description

I'm having this specific problem since some minor release (starting from 4.1 maybe).

If log into guest Ubuntu and try to save machine state, the progress bar would advances gradually to some point near 99% and then it would come to a freeze. All I can do is to forcibly kill the related process using Activity Monitor.

If I do not log into Ubuntu and stay at the login screen, I would be successful at saving machine state. It's rather weird.

I found out that it's caused by 3D acceleration setting; I have it checked on.

Status:	new → closed

Please reopen if still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.
