Virtualbox 4.28 upgrade to window7 x64

Does not finish install and rolls back every time. Reloaded 4.26 and repeated several times. 4.26 always re-installs and 4.28 always rolls back.

Problem persists. Windows 7 pro x64 host has been running Virtual box for 16 months, Every time there is an upgrade, its installed without any issue. Last stable release 4.26. Every attempt to upgrade to 4.28 forcing the installation software to roll-back leaving nothing properly installed. Additional attempts to install 4.28 sees same behavior. Attempting to re-install 4.26 always works properly. Have tried this cycle many times. 4.26 can be re-installed on broken install or on itself without issue.

Errors listed above apply to three Boxes. Error indicated existing Vboxes can not be closed, and this triggers the roll back

Moment. What you posted (please use the attach function next time!) are VBoxSVC.log files. But you wrote that the installation of the VirtualBox Windows package failed. Does it help if you uninstall VirtualBox and then install version 4.2.8?
