"My VT-X is turned off", says VirtualBox

Description

So my problem is when I try and power on my XP VirtualBox I get the following error:

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine XP Mode.

VT-x is not available. (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX).

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)

Yes, I am sure that my VT is turned on. I am running Windows 8 with a HP Pavilion DV7-6c43cl that I upgraded.

Status: newclosed

Please check your BIOS settings. Looks like VT-x is disabled in the BIOS. If that does not help, check if a BIOS update is available.

Actually you are running VirtualBox is guest. Most likely because you are using Hyper-V. That's not supported.
