When VM window loses focus, window repaints incorrectly

Description
I have MacOSX v10.6.8 host OS and VirtualBox v4.2.6r82870 with a guest OS of Windows XP Pro v2002SP3. Ever since updating to this version of VirtualBox, the screen repaints incorrectly whenever the guest window loses focus. Upon returning focus to the guest window, some portions of the screen still do not repaint correctly.
Resizing the window seems to fix the painting, but the problem recurs with the next change in focus. (I have the "Auto-resize the Guest Display" option selected.)
I have Vbox Guest Additions at the same version installed. I have not installed the experimental 3D support.
