Full Screen looses pop-up vbox menu when switch host monitor

Description
Running guest at full screen on host screen1 on a two monitor setup. From the little popup menu at the bottom choose view/virtual screen 1/host screen 2
The guest desktop is then shown on the other monitor at full screen, but the little pop up now longer appears. In order to recover you have to shutdown the guest and restart it
I'm running on Debian under Gnome3's shell.
