GUI complains about error in Proxy host config, even when no proxy is used

Description
I get complaints in the GUI, both for Solaris and MacOS hosts, about "Invalid settings detected", "The value of the Host field on the Proxy page is not complete", even though the "Enable proxy" checkbox is unchecked.
I believe this may be new in 4.2(.22), can't remember seeing that in 4.1.18.
