XP Host will not boot on laptop

Description

I cloned 2 32bit guests from my old win7 64bitPC- Ubuntu 10.04 & XP Pro w/SP2. Both transferred perfectly to My new PC, but only 10.04 will boot on my Lenovo G560 laptop.(all hosts are 64 bit) XP will boot into Safe mode only, but no internet.....thought I'd try installing SP3.

I tried changing hdw. acceleration settings, anything I could see to try, nothing works....it gets to the 'windows is starting up screen', then reverts back to Vbox in endless loop. Evidently it lacks some needed driver/s, since it boots to safe mode. Sure would appreciate any help. thanks

Are you sure it is a bug?

"Goliath 45" started a topic at https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=49669 with the exact same wording.

In any case posting a log file would be the proper place to start.

Replying to Perryg:

No, not really sure, but same clone works fine on 2 other machines, so very strange. Will post log file soon as I can, thanks.
