Distorted sound in windows 7 guest when excecution cap is set below 100%

Description
If the execution cap is set below 100% when running more than 1 virtual cpu the sound in a windows 7 guest is distorted. If set to 100% then the sound is not distorted. No other processes are running and the cpu is not peaking on any limits.
Running virtual box 4.1.8 on Opensuse 12.1 with windows 7 guest service pack 1
