[feature-request] Docs: Please specify that on Windows host, you must install Adobe Reader.

Currently, if you install VirtualBox on a new Windows Host, you won't be able to read VirtualBox docs.

Please Document this feature, so that users will know that they need Adobe Reader too...

Alternatively, you can add help in .chm format to Windows start menu, so user will be able to choose .chm or PDF.

Software: Windows XP Pro SP2 Eng, no extra patches, VirtualBox 1.3.6 Full.

  1. Please re-mark as bug (and remove feature-request from topic)
  2. Please make .chm documentation visible from Start Menu
  3. Update to version 1.3.8
  4. Please specify PDF reader (Adobe Reader) as a requirement for VirtualBox in documentation.

Adobe Reader is not a requirement for using VirtualBox or for accessing its documentation, but I put a note on the web page where the pdf documentation can be downloaded. Starting the VirtualBox GUI, which I think is the most natural thing for a first time user, will make the help available through the menu in chm format on both Windows and Linux platforms. Making the documentation available from the start menu in Windows might be an idea though (I don't know if there is a similar way to "publish" it in Linux).
