[vbox-dev] Troubleshooting a USB capture issue with multiple devices.

I'm trying to troubleshoot a problem with vbox 4.2.16 (windows 7 host)
where virtualbox is unable to capture multiple devices when a virtual
machine is starting up.

In my testing, I'm only trying to attached USB SC readers (I have about 4
different vendors).

I managed to isolate the problem to a single case where it consistently
fails:
1- Plug-in three USB SC readers to the host.
2- Create a VM and add a USB filter for each individual SC reader
3- ** Ensure that vboxsvc is not running **
4- From a command line prompt start the machine virtualbox.exe --startvm
testing

If I follow the steps above exactly, two SC readers will be captured and
the third will state that it is captured; however, it is not forwarded to
the guest.

I wrote this email back in 4.2.16 and didn't get a chance to send it. So
I'm sending it now to find out if all the changes to the USB code could
*possibly* address that problem. Further, I'm not sure if I should focus my
testing, in relation to this issue, on 4.3 or the latest 4.2.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
