[vbox-dev] [Patch] Make file association registration optional

Hi all, and thanks for VirtualBox,
This simple patch is designed to make VBox less intrusive by making the file association registration optional,
it was first requested 3 years ago ( https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/8009 ).

(attached a print-screen that shows the new option, which is turned on by default)
Feel free to suggest improvements.

I am licensing this patch under the MIT license.
