I'm not sure that the issue Perry mentioning is related to yours. Still, 
Perry's issues is solved now, and it would be good if you try whether 
the fix helps you as well.
All related fixes are now in OSE, so could you try the OSE >= r45921 and 
let me know whether it helps?

Could you also specify which exactly MS Office/Powerpoint version do you 
use so that I could try to reproduce your issue locally?
