Thanks for the patch.  As usual, we would appreciate an MIT notice, but
since I assume that will not be a problem I have already applied the
patch (it is not yet publicly visible though).  I hoped that the creator
of the trac ticket would contact you as I asked them to.  Next time I
will point people straight to the mailing list.
