[vbox-dev] How can I use performance counters on the host? want to measure cache misses..

Hello, folks.
I'd like to use performance counters (PMI) on the host, but it seems like 
vbox is using them already. Is it? Can I disable it and use counters for my 
measurement purpose? I couldn't find good documentations yet.
I'd like to measure cache misses in virtualized environment using vbox. How 
can I do it?
Any hints or comments would be appreciated.
