[vbox-dev] setextradata ACPI SLIC?

Fri May 2 2008, Hans Holzer sent an email to this group with some
patches to the OSE version that added some DMI settings and a SLIC
FILENAME option.

Frank Mehnert pointed out that most of the DMI values could already be
set using setextradata, and asked about the SLIC file:

To date, the option for VirtualBox to have a custom ACPI SLIC (via a
file) is not available.

If someone were to create a patch against the recent source that added
this option (custom SLIC), would it be considered for inclusion into
the OSE and PEUL versions of VB?
