VB 4.0 Appliance (.ova/.ovf) import drops ExtendedDataItem XML statements

Description
Using VB 4.0 on Windows7 host, Windows guests. Importing an appliance (.ova/.ovf) file the ExtraDataItem statements in the XML are lost. This appears to be new behavior in 4.0 - it worked properly in 3.1.6. Workaround (ugh) - manually cut/paste the XML statements into the .vbox file after import, before starting machine. Once the ExtraDataItem statements are in the .vbox file everything works, and they are properly exported to the .ova/.ovf file on appliance export.
