Description
I got a critical error while running Ubuntu 10.04 on a Macbook pro with 10.5.8 host. The mac had been suspended (lid closed) for several hours and when I tried to resume the virtual session it hung. When I restarted VirtualBox I got the error early in the boot process while the virtual screen was blank. Now I cannot restart the virtual machine.

Please reopen if still relevant with VBox 4.0.4. Make sure that no other hypervisor is running in parallel to VirtualBox on the same host.
