Unable to create new virtual hard disk due to corrupt virtualbox.xml file.

Ultimate cause: The VirtualBox.xml file had a hidden attribute which I'm certain I never set. Being the admin, I don't need to hide things from myself, seeing as enable viewing hidden files.
Deleting the file forcing VBox to re-create it, is an alternate fix and updates the xml with the correct version and heading tags though one needs to hack it to recognise existing machines and drives.
