#5459 closed defect (fixed)

Native Vista file dialogs => Fixed in SVN

Component: GUI Version: VirtualBox 3.0.10

Description

"Virtual Media Manager", when adding files (VDIs, ISO, Floppies) uses the old Windows Open File Dialog. It must migrate to newer Windows File Dialog standard. (OpenEx ?)

This problem exists in both v3.0.10 and v3.1.0-BETA1.

Fixed in the next maintenance release.

Please also fix the VBox installer for Windows hosts. It should be as easy as updating the install software (ISS/InstallShield/...).
