#5220 closed defect (fixed)

After saving state virtual machine's memory is not released on OpenSolaris

Description

I use virtualbox3.0.6 on OpenSolaris. The host has 2048M memory, and 2 guest OS are configured to use 1024M memory respectively. Usually I do some work in VM1, and then close it with "Save state" and then start VM2. However, sometimes I experience very bad performance(even system hangs) after I close VM1 and start VM2 immediately. "prstat" shows that the memory allocated to VM1 is not released after VM1 is closed by saving state. And VM2 is eating the rest of the memory on the host. Screen shots are attached.

It seems the memory is released after restarting virtulbox console.

I can still reproduce the problem with 3.0.10 on OpenSolaris0906.
