Description
Loading Windows7 vmdk created in VMWare server 2.0 bombs out. Files attached. Host OS: W2K8 x64 SE server with 8GB RAM.

Thanks Unknown for your info. I would like to change the synopsis to "Please ignore what VBox says after VM fails to start" as I only did what popped up in info box, in good faith, and believing to be helping VBox to get better.

Sarcastic remarks don't help make VBox better. Reading the manual and using the forum before opening tickets here does. If you have a genuine problem, then your report is appreciated. Otherwise opening tickets wasts your and our time.
Moving a disk from one system to another simply doesn't work with Windows. A real machine would reboot. VBox reports an error. I've lost count how often I have told people that.
