VirtualBox freezes after standby

Description
I have WindowsXP running as guest OS and if my PCLinux goes into standby the WindowsXP session freezes. I noticed this is only happening if the VT-x/AMD-V option is enabled.
I tried this several times and it consistently freezes when this option is enabled and never happens when it is not.
Will be glad to provide any other information you might need but being a newbie I'll need directions to fetch this information.
