BSOD when compiling on shared folder

Reported by: Simon Owned by:
Component: shared folders Version: VirtualBox 2.0.0
Keywords: BSOD compiling winxp_guest Cc:
Guest type: Windows Host type: Linux

Description

When trying to compile a Microsoft Access 2007 project (i.e. make an ACCDE-file from an ACCDB-file) located in a shared folder, the guest system crashes repeatedly. I get the same error on various physical machines. When I copy the project to the local hdd, the project compiles fine. The BSOD error is STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005,0x80571A7C,0xB0208C20,0x00000000)

Possibily related to (already fixed) bug #1683

I'm running the latest version (as of 09-04-08) of VirtualBox on Ubuntu 8.04, my WinXP guest has the latest guest additions installed.
