Turning on second display causes virtualbox to crash in seamless mode

Description

Windows 7 64-bit host with xubuntu 32-bit guest. vbox extentions are installed. In Windows 7 I have a dual monitor setup with an extended desktop, (the second monitor is actually a receiver connected via HDMI and in turn it has a TV attached). When running in seamless mode with the receiver turned off it works, when turning on the reciever (+tv) Windows detects it as a second monitor and will extend the desktop to it, at that point the vbox guest freezes and can only be recovered by killing the virtualbox application. Within virtualbox for this guest I have only defined 1 monitor. This problem did not happen when I duplicate the desktop, it also happened with version 4.3.6, but I now have 4.3.8 and it still happens.

Comments on the logfile: consider these lines: . 06:57:38.215134 VMMDev::SetVideoModeHint: got a video mode hint (1920x1080x0)@(0x0),(1;0) at 0 06:57:38.232750 VMMDev::SetVideoModeHint: got a video mode hint (2560x1560x0)@(0x0),(1;0) at 0 . The big display with the resoluton of 2560x1560x0 is the current display and the HD screen is the one being turned on and that's the point where the problem starts.
