Canon MP145 scanner function always failed on Windows XP guest OS

Description
I have installed Canon MP145 driver on Windows XP guest. The printer function is working properly, but the scanner function always failed and gives an error message. Compared using Vmware Workstation 6.0 all the functions of unit are working properly.
