= User accounts on virtualbox.org = 

We have now added user accounts to this site to allow you to use our [wiki:"Bugtracker" bugtracker] and [https://forums.virtualbox.org forums.] 

If you are not yet logged into virtualbox.org, you will see a link on the top right. Follow the "[/login Login]" link to sign up an Oracle Single Sign On account. Once you have successfully registered an account, you can login. You can now create new tickets (bug reports) in the bugtracker and post new comments in existing tickets.

You do ''not'' need a user account for anything else. You can read all tickets and forums without being logged in.

== Requesting removal of your user account for the bugtracker ==

If you want to get your bug tracker account deleted, please send a free form account removal request to `tra``c@virt``ualbox``.org` from the email address of your OSSO account. Do not forget to state your nick name. Account deletion needs manual activity, so it may take a few days. All valid requests are honored.

Note that your bug tracker tickets and comments are kept. Removing them will make the ticket meaningless, making essential information unavailable to the community.
