= The GNU General Public License (GPL) Version 3 = 

The !VirtualBox Base Package starting with version 7.0 is licensed under the GPL V3. The license change was required to remain compatible with the Qt library which has changed their license. (Some parts of !VirtualBox, especially libraries, may also be released under other licenses as well.)
