WDDM: After installing WDDM/Aero driver, Windows Media Player crashes (Win7)

Host: Win7 x64 + NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 + Intel Core i7 + VBox 4.1.6.

Guest: Win7 x64 + WDDM 4.1.6 driver installed (Aero not active)

Wildlife HD video fails to run on Win7 guests. (With Aero, Video doesn't shows up, and without Aero, Windows Media Player 12 simply crashes)

To reproduce: Install WDDM inside Win7 + run Windows Media Player 12 with "Wildlife HD video", which is included with Windows7 (documents/videos).

The ​http://www.virtualbox.org/download/testcase/VirtualBox-2011-11-16-11-43-30-win-4.1-rel-4.1.7-r74892-MultiArch.exe contains fixes for Windows Media Player rendering. Please give it a try.
Note that you need to update both host VBox installation and Guest Additions.
There are still performance issues with rendering videos. We're going to address them soon.

VBox settings: 3D enabled.

case 1. WDDM installed, but Aero disabled. Results: no crash, but WMP shows no video either.

Guest: Windows 7 32-bit bugs:

Now (sometimes) I see the video, but too much screen-blinking (it seems 'redraw' problem).

Guest: both Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit common bugs:

Moreover, Media Player sometimes keeps crashing (see screenshot). Sometimes I get error "Server execution failure" (see screenshot).

Media player often starts with Black Screen.
