Description

VirtualBox wake-ups 250 times per second in the main GUI and when virtualization is paused. This can be seen using eg. powertop. VirtualBox should really not wakeup the CPU 250 times/s in the case only main GUI is showed or the virtualization is not running.

  • Summary changed from VirtualBox wake-ups 250 times per second in the main GUI and when virtualization is paused to VirtualBox wake-ups 250 times per second in the main GUI and when virtualization is paused => Fixed in 1.5.4

Fixed for the case when the GUI is started but no VM is active. The other case (all VMs are paused) is more difficult to fix.
