Diablo crashes toggling fullscreen (using guest additions)

Description
The video game "Diablo" under a Windows-XP guest may under some circumstances produce a blue-screen crash of the virtual machine. To reproduce, "basic" guest additions have to be installed on the guest system. While in the game, one simply has to toggle fullscreen mode (pressing host-f or something) in order to produce the crash. In order to avoid it, one has to alt-tab out of the game before going out of (or enabling) the fullscreen mode. An alternative is to avoid installing the guest additions -- that way, it seems impossible to reproduce the crash.

Forgive me, but I am now unable to reproduce the issue I have just reported. I have upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10 (oneiric), and freshly reinstalled the guest's OS, and I am unable to make the guest machine freeze or crash. All for the best, therefore. Unless someone reports they have been able to reproduce the crash in the near future.
Great work, devs. These days they are fixing them without even issuing a new version...
