Ubuntu 11.04 guest crashed at launch with the freshly installed new release 4.1.4 on Mac OSX Snow Leopard host. Solved by reverting back to 4.0.12 r72916.

The reporter responded that this problem was fixed with VBox 4.1.6. Thank you for the feedback!

From the log file this does not look like a crash but actually just the wrong version of the Extension Pack and this should be visible in a message box as well. Just install the correct version of the Extension Pack and you should be able to start your guest.
