Visual Studio 2010 Toolbox crashes VB

Description
As soon as I try to select something in the VS2010 toolbox, VirtualBox crashes and reboots. I tried disabling 3D acceleration and all visual effects, but it had no effect. This bug has also been reported a couple of times in the forums.
