Description (last modified by Frank Mehnert)

I used to use Parallels on my Mac, but Virtual Box is much faster so I switched. I am running Windows XP Professional on Virtual Box. I program Xbox games and need to be able to plug in a wired Xbox controller. If the "Enable USB 2.0 (EHCI) Controller" box is checked, Virtual Box will cause my Mac's screen to turn gray and tell me that I need to hold down the power button until my Mac turns off, then restart my computer. However, if the USB 2.0 box is not enabled, the Xbox controller works fine and my Mac does not crash, but external USB 2.0 drives are slow. This is a pretty serious bug that I would like someone to look into. These fatal errors cannot be good for my Mac.

Guest: Windows XP Professional.

My Mac specs are as follows: Model: MacBook Pro (Identifier: MacBookPro5,2) Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo Speed: 2.93 GHz RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1067 MHz OS: 10.6.8

Please let me know if you need additional information. Thanks!
