On the download page there are RPMs available for various Fedora releases, but not for Fedora 8.

Did you try the Fedora7-Package?

comment:2 Changed 11 years ago by akos.ladanyi

No, I haven't. Although the rest may work, but the kernel modules in that package are not for the kernel in Fedora 8.

comment:3 Changed 11 years ago by frank

That doesn't matter. I doubt that the shipped Fedora7 kernel modules fit into every Fedora7 installation. Note that the kernel module has to be compiled against the current kernel. Our packages try to compile a kernel module if no proper module was found. Of course the kernel headers for the current kernel has to be installed (package kernel-devel).

Ok, I'll try to install the Fedora 7 RPM when I get home.

The Fedora 7 RPM really works with Fedora 8. Thanks.
