Description (last modified by Frank Mehnert)

Can't gpxe boot x86_64 guest like Centos5, menu could not be loaded. After changing it to 32bit OS, then gpxe boot would work, but it means gpxe boot could not be supported with x86_64 guest.

Please do NOT paste log files but attach the log files to the ticket. When using the 32-bit guest, did you use a PCNet card in the VM settings and did you use an E1000 card with the 64-bit guest? In that case you have to install the Oracle extension pack as the normal PXE code cannot handle E1000 cards, only the Intel PXE drive which is included in the extension pack (for legal reasons).

Ok, will do.

No, when using 32-bit guest, I used e1000 and it works with 32bit.

I just tried to use all PCNet options for x86_64 guest, and it would stuck downloading gpxe file pxelinux.0, which is not working.

I also just upgraded Oracle extension pack to 4.0.8, and retries all e1000 cards option, it is failing in the same way: "BIOS: * int 15h function AX=d04f, BX=4f43 not yet supported!"
