VB 4.0.8 hangs sometime at the end of shutdown and crashes after close it by force — at Initial Version

Description
I have Windows 7 x64 as my host machine. My guest machine is Ubuntu 11.04. Today VB 4.0.8 crashed when I tried to shutdown my guess machine. I see the bug very often.
Here I want to describe an another bug which probably relates to the bug. I use several shared folders. I created symlinks to the folders inside /mnt. Sometime when I try to execute "ls /mnt" the command hangs. If I go to /media/sf_* I can browse the directories without any problems.
