after booting up a systyem local (physical) netcard properties fields ""IP"", ""netmask"" & ""gateway"" showed empty strings, inspite of ""tcp/ip properties"" are configured as ""manual"". changing properties of netcard didnt help (changes even didnt ""appended"" successfully). only turning ""VirtualBox Bridged network driver"" to ""disabled"" state allowed successful conection to local network (& internet).
