Only first 4 out of 8 ethernet cards work with Windows XP guest

Host1: Windows 7 x64 + VBox 4.0.6
Host2: Debian Linux 6.0 x64 + VBox 4.0.6
Guest: Windows XP
When I setup WinXP VM with 8 vNICs (AMD pcNET-III type), only first 4 start correctly, and the rest get yellow sign in Device Manager.
With Debian Linux 6.0 guest all cards work fine.

I'm sure the other NICs would work if you would enable the I/O APIC for this VM.
