After installing virtualbox 4.0.4, usb problem encountered

Description
After installing Virtualbox 4.0.4, i am encountering problems with my usb.
When copying files from USB to USB external drive, file becomes corrupt.
I did restore from my previous system image before installing the virtual box and everything is ok again.
This is all happening in the Host system.
Suspect is that device drivers may be overwritten by virtual box. Device driver such as usb*.sys and etc.
Please help.
My host system is Win 7 64 bit ultimate 4 gb ram

What do you mean by "copying from USB to USB external drive"? And are you 100% sure that the problems are gone after you uninstalled VirtualBox?
