Description (last modified by )
I have installed openSUSE 11.3 as guest in VBox 3.2.12, guest additions installed.
Adding a shared folder via sudo mount .... works fine, but putting it permantently into /etc/fstab failes: 1daten /daten vboxsf defaults 0 0
The line is syntactically correct, as a mount -a mounts the shared folder, but nothing happens during boot. (I have seen bug 6696, but the guest additions are the right version)

The standard way (which avoids endless effort on our end whenever some distro changes its exact implementation details/ordering of fstab based mounting) is to use the shared folder auto mounting feature of the guest additions.
