double file browse dialog

Description
When I browse for a .vdi to add to my VM through settings dialog, the native file browser dialog appears and while I am navigating to some directory - out of nowhere another unresponsive dialog appears that is not interactable! I choose the file and open it in the original dialog and the second disappears. a UI bug....

I am on OS X 10.7.4, running virtualbox 4.1.18, and I can confirm this is still a (serious) problem.
