after installing the Maverick Meerkat and VBox via download I tried to create a virtual storage unit. The GUI crashes in the beginning, showing the status on 0%.[[BR]]Aborting the process via button does not work, I have to manually kill the process ""VBoxSVC"", getting the report that the virtual storage unit could not be created, getting the error message:[[BR]]

Still vboxsvc remains as a zombie in the process table.
